APPLICATION SPECIALISTS

Mercury Processing Services International is looking for a new team members. If real time systems are your favourite topic of conversation, you might be the person we are looking for. As part of the Authorizations team within our Systems Department, you will take part in supporting cash-less payments flow. Although you will be responsible for developing, configuring and maintenance of payment switching and authorization systems, you will also support other products and services relevant for quick and secure payment processes (ATM’s, POS’es, etc.). Whether you’re a fresh starter or an experienced professional, this may be the opportunity you are looking for.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Program, test, debug and maintain existing, as well as develop and implement new payment switching and authorization systems, according to the business needs,
• Collect, comply and entry data and processed information into various software systems,
• To be up to date, implement and continuously work on global scheme mandates, national banks mandates and other relevant mandatory and compliance needs,
• Provide support to our other card business products and services (ATM’s, POS’es, e-commerce),
• Address system performance issues and crashes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in technical or computer science, mathematics or related area,
• Basic IT knowledge in following areas: operating systems (Windows Server, IBM AIX), LAN\WAN and databases (POSTGRESQL, Microsoft SQL server and Oracle),
• Understanding of application protocols in use by applications: GNS ISO, HISO, BIC ISO, APACS, MDC, SPDH, HPDH, Web Services, Synchronization and Replication processes,
• Theoretical or practical knowledge of IT systems, development methods, techniques and processes,
• Knowledge of following areas: C++, PERL scripting language,
• Good command of English language (both written and spoken).

GOOD TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Driving license,
• General knowledge of card payment industry, especially knowledge of payment switching and authorization systems.
